All team members are elgible for a complimentary season pass. The winter season pass includes unlimited skiing and snowboarding at BHR and all Mountain Capital Partners (MCP) ski resorts.
An employee season pass is required to redeem other Resort discounts, complimentary lift tickets, and services.
Upon completion of your new hire/rehire paperwork and I-9 verification, the HR department will issue your employee pass! In order for your employee pass to be issued, you must also fill out this link.
Any team member who has already purchased a winter season pass for themselves before they start work with Brian Head Resort can have all or a portion of the cost of their pass refunded based on the effective date of their employment based on the seasonal schedules below:
If an employee’s effective start date is before January 1, 100% of the season pass costs will be refunded
If an employee’s effective start date is between January 1 and January 31, 50% of the season pass costs will be refunded
If an employee’s effective start date is between February 1 and February 28, 25% of the season pass costs will be refunded
After March 1, season pass costs will not be refunded
If you lose your season pass, a replacement pass will cost $5.00.

Unmarried full-time team members in at least their second year of employment are eligible for a Buddy Pass for one other person at a discounted rate.
The team member must have an active employee season pass to qualify for the Buddy Pass.
Pick up a Buddy Pass application form from the HR office, have it signed by your manager, and bring it to the Season Pass office to purchase the pass.

Team members who are married and/or have children are eligible for discounted passes for their spouse and/or children under the age of 18.
The team member must have an active employee season pass to qualify for the spouse/dependent passes.
Pick up a Spouse/Dependent pass application form from the HR office, have it signed by your manager, and bring it to the Season Pass office to purchase the pass(es).

NEW THIS SEASON!
Brian Head Resort has recently joined the Intermountain Ski Areas Association (ISAA).
This partnership with ISAA means BHR team members are now eligible for discounted lift tickets at other ISAA ski resorts.

The Ski Utah Gold Pass is Utah’s first fully transferable season pass, valid at all 15 of Utah’s public ski and snowboard resorts.
Brian Head Resort allows team members who are in good standing to utilize the Gold Passes during the 24/25 winter season.
Requests to use a Gold Pass must be submitted to your manager.

Team members are eligible for free beginner lessons taught by Brian Head Resort’s Winter Sports School.
Free lessons will be held in a group setting with other beginners in the same age group.
Based on availability; lessons must be reserved in advance.
Email wssadmin@brianhead.com to check availabiliy.
If WSS confirms availability, go to the ticket office at Navajo Lodge to book the lesson.
Must have an active employee season pass to take a lesson.
Team member’s spouses and dependents are elgibile for discounted lessons if they have acquired a Spouse or Dependent season pass.

Team members are eligible for free ski and snowboard rentals for themselves when equipment is available.
Rentals will not be available for team member-use during Peak Periods.
Must have an active employee season pass to check out rentals.

Team members are eligible for free equipment (skis and snowboards) repair at the Navajo and Giant Steps repair shops.
Ski and snowboard waxes are free if you primarily work on your skis/snowboard (Winter Sports School, Ski Patrol, Terrain Park). Limit 1 free wax every two weeks.

Non-slip shoes purchased by a team member for work usage may qualify for a reimbursement up to $40.00 if these condidtions are met:
For team members in the Food & Beverage departments.
Must fit the requirements of the job duties as determined by the deparment manager.
Must be professional in appearance (black or neutral in color).
Purchase your shoes however you like:
Shoes for Crews has a corporate discount for BHR team members (discount automatically applied by using the above link).
Any qualifying footwear approved by your deparment is eligible for the reimbursement.
Bring or email your receipt to HR with your name and department.
Within two weeks, you will receive a paper check reimbursing you for up to $40.00, or the amount paid, if under $40.00.

A helmet purchaed by a team member primarily for work usage may qualify for a reimbursement of up to $40.00 if these conditions are met:
For team members in the Winter Sports School, Ski Patrol, Lift Operations, Lift Maintenance, Snowmaking, and Terrain Park departments.
Must fit the requirements of the job duties as determined by the department manager.
Must be professional in appearance (muted colors or neutral shades are preferable, no inappropriate stickers).
Purchase your helmet any way you wish:
Brian Head Resort retail will extend a one-time 50% discount on a helmet for those required to wear them on the job.
Multiple pro deals exist for Resort employees (see links to Outdoor Prolink and Expert Voice below).
Local companies like Brian Head Sports and Georg’s occasionally offer Resort team members a modest discount. Be respectful of their businesses and always ask first.
Bring or email your receipt to HR with your name and department. Reimbursements will not be issued without the purchase receipt.

Get paid for carpooling to work!
To be eligbile for the Carpool Incentive, you must drive your personal vehicle to Brian Head, and have at least two team member passengers (not including yourself).
Carpool pay is $5.00 for each team member you transport in your vehicle (excluding yourself), up to four people.
This form must be submitted on the day you carpooled. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Team members are eligible to receive a $150 Referral Bonus when they refer a new team member.
To qualify, the referred team member must include the name of the referrer on their application.
Once the referred team member completes 30 days of employment, the $150 bonus will be paid out on the referrer’s next paycheck.
Please note that failing to include the referrer’s name on the application will disqualify the referrer from receiving the bonus.

Affordable housing is available for team members who work full-time hours at Brian Head Resort and/or Brian Head Lodge.
Located at the Mountain View Lodge in Parowan, UT.
Shared rooms; all rooms will be shared, up to two tenants per room.
Tenants may request to live with a friend or partner, otherwise they will be randomly assigned a roommate.
